We were appointed by Henry Construction to decorate 100 apartments at The Arc. This was new-build decoration — handover interiors, not a refurb we could work around existing residents.
One hundred new-build apartments is commercial painting and decorating at handover volume — work we take across London and the South East.
A new residential block is judged at handover. The decoration has to read as finished apartments across the building, not as a run of first-fix paint with the last floors still open. That is the job Henry Construction brought us in to close.

One hundred apartments is a volume job, but it is still one building. The finish has to be consistent from the first plot to the last. Plots come free, get decorated, and have to be protected until the apartment is handed over. That is the constraint that defined this appointment.

The client relationship sat with Henry Construction. Their site team set the sequence, received the queries and closed the package. We did not take a separate brief from the street or from the end purchaser. Decoration on a new-build block has to sit inside the main contractor's protection, access and handover rules, and that is how we ran it.
Working on this site meant treating The Arc as a handover, not as a long empty site. Apartments come free in groups. While one set is being decorated, another is still being built out, and a third is already finished and has to stay clean. Wet work, curing and second coats have to fit the release you actually have.
Handover interiors have to take people and kit as soon as the plot is needed. We did not assume we could return later to tidy junctions that should have been finished the first time. Edges, frames, and the change from decorated surfaces to other trades' work are where that standard is won or lost.
Volume does not excuse a soft last apartment. One hundred apartments means the same method, the same protection and the same close-out on the last door as on the first. We reported progress to Henry Construction as one building, not as a set of unrelated plots.
